1-Phenyl-2- Nitropropane  is a crystals (at room temperature and pressure) that can be used as an organic solvent. It is used as a solvent or additive in inks, paints, adhesives, varnishes, polymers, resins, fuels and coatings. It is also used in organic synthesis. Used as a solvent for many kinds of resins, waxes, fats, dyes and coatings, and as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and pesticides. 2.Used as solvent and co-solvent for extraction, special solvent for ethylene and epoxy resin paint, rocket fuel, additive of gasoline, etc. It is also used in organic synthesis.
